CASE STUDY
CIOS Biosphere Ideation Workshops.
Two workshops towards developing a UNESCO Biosphere in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The Context
The two collaborative workshops brought together a diverse group of stakeholders: community representatives, researchers, environmental organisations and public sector partners to explore the future of the Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Biosphere.
The Result
Two connected graphic recordings captured the shared understanding around balancing the complexities of the environmental, social, cultural and economic context. They show how these opportunities and constraints develop into the goals of the Biosphere as a whole, providing an engaging record of the process and a visual resource as the project progresses.

Key Themes:

“Working with Helen has always been an absolute pleasure. Her graphic recording and facilitation brought immense clarity, creativity, and engagement to both our Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Biosphere project and our Environmental Compliance project with the Local Nature Partnership. She has a rare and brilliant ability to capture complex discussions in real time and translate them into compelling visual narratives that elevate the impact of the work.”
