The Context
The Building an ACE Aware Nation in Wales research conference brought together researchers and practitioners to explore how Welsh research could inform trauma-informed practice and improve outcomes across communities.
The conference created a space to share emerging evidence, challenge assumptions and strengthen collaboration between organisations working across health, education, policing and social care. The graphic recordings captured the development of these conversations, helping participants navigate complex ideas while connecting research with practical action.
The Result
Together, the three graphic recordings form a visual narrative of the conference’s evolution, capturing changing priorities while maintaining a consistent focus on prevention, resilience and systems change.
They continue to provide an accessible overview of the research, discussions and practical ideas explored throughout the cross-sector programmes and widening application of trauma-informed practice across Wales.
